2+ "Altergeist" monsters If this card is Link Summoned: You can Set 1 "Altergeist" Trap directly from your Deck. Once while this card is face-up on the field, during the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can send 1 card you control to the GY, then target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; take control of that target, and if you do, it is also treated as an "Altergeist" monster. You can only use each effect of "Altergeist Adminia" once per turn.
Altergeist Adminia — Power Evaluation
Final Score: 59 ± 6 · Confidence: Medium
- Intrinsic: 60 · Deck: 62 · Meta: provisional
- Primary role: Removal / Negation · Secondary: Extender
Why it scores here
Adminia's value is a once-per-turn Main Phase quick effect that sends 1 card you control to the GY to take control of an opponent's Effect Monster, which then counts as Altergeist. That is a real swing in board control, and the on-Link-Summon Trap set from the Deck adds a free card of value. The 3000 ATK and Link-4 rating earn nothing on their own. The score is held back by the Altergeist-only text, the absence of any combo evidence, and the unknown interaction profile, not by the high deck count.
Axis scores
| Axis | Score | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility | 62 | Needs 2+ Altergeist monsters to Link Summon, but 314 of 400 sampled decks run it under the main Altergeist archetype, so it is routinely live (observed). |
| Combo & Conversion | 55 | The steal converts one opposing Effect Monster per turn, but no combo boards were supplied, so the conversion is text-only inference (inferred). |
| Resource Economy | 72 | Steal is roughly +1 board for a 1-card GY cost, and the Link Summon trigger sets a Trap from the Deck, a free card (verified). |
| Effect & Interaction | 72 | Strong control-steal on an Effect Monster, but it is Main Phase only and once per turn, so it is not a response tool (verified). |
| Material Utility | 45 | Link-4 Dark Spellcaster with Altergeist-specific text; it is a link material but not a clean generic body, and the stolen monster's material value is inferred only (inferred). |
| Resilience & Flexibility | 50 | No counter or negation data was supplied; the steal depends on having a card to send to GY and on the stolen monster staying on the field (inferred). |
| Deck-Building Efficiency | 60 | Average 1.46 copies per deck and a typical 2 copies in the Altergeist usage statistics, but it locks the deck into Altergeist identity (observed). |
Calculation
Weight profile: 0.7 Removal/Negation + 0.3 Extender (secondary role: Link Summon Trap set from Deck). Intrinsic ≈ 60, Deck ≈ 62, Meta = provisional. Modifiers: Archetype-locked restriction (-3). Final formula: 0.40*Intrinsic + 0.60*Deck
Strengths
- Quick-effect control steal of an opposing Effect Monster, converting their board into a stolen Altergeist
- Set-from-Deck Trap on Link Summon gives a free card of value
- Live in 400/400 sampled decks, with 314 in the main Altergeist archetype
Weaknesses
- Main Phase only and once per turn for each effect
- Costs 1 card you control sent to the GY to use the steal
- Locked to Altergeist identity; the Altergeist-only text does not travel to other homes
Counters / choke points
- Negation or removal of the Adminia itself, which the evidence does not quantify
- Targeted removal or negation of the stolen monster after the steal resolves
- Evidence does not show the frequency of specific hand traps; partner co-occurrence is not counter data
Best use
Removal / Negation with Extender value via the on-Link-Summon Trap set. Decks: Altergeist (713), Altergeist (149).
Evidence & gaps
- Verified: Link Summon trigger: set 1 Altergeist Trap directly from the Deck; Quick Effect in the Main Phase, once per turn: send 1 card you control to the GY to take control of 1 opposing Effect Monster, which becomes Altergeist if taken; Each effect is once per turn; the card is Dark Spellcaster Link-4 with ATK 3000 and 4 arrows
- Observed: Present in 400/400 sampled decks; 314 in archetype 713 (78.5%); Average 1.46 copies per deck; distribution 245 x1, 126 x2, 29 x3; Usage statistics: 100% inclusion in Altergeist (713), typical 2 copies; Top partners are Altergeist core cards (Primebanshee, Hexstia, Marionetter) at 97-100% co-occurrence
- Inferred: The steal is the primary value route; the Set-Trap trigger is secondary card advantage; Stolen monster can be used as Altergeist material, which feeds further Link Summons; Negation of the Adminia itself would end the steal line, but the frequency of this is not evidenced
- Data gaps: No combo boards supplied, so combo conversion is text-only inference No banlist token and no legal_copies data; 3 copies assumed No rulings or counter/hand-trap interaction data for this card Only one guide mention, from an unreleased-card context Top-Card context is empty (not ranked)
